Don’t Take Questions’: White House Press Secretary Frowns On Biden’s Media Interaction - USA TODAY The White House says it’s “working to finalize details” of a plan to allow press access to the southern border facilities where migrants are being held.  Press secretary Jen Psaki again refused to call the migrant surge at the border a crisis

WASHINGTON President Joe Biden was fielding his fourth question from a reporter after delivering remarks on the pandemic last week when he apologized to the press corps.

Look, Im sorry.  This is the last question Ill take, Biden said.

A statement from White House Press Secretary Jane Psaki was released in a podcast interview this week.  Psaki told CNN's David Axelrod that the telecom store does not approve of Biden's willingness to engage with reporters asking questions during Biden's public appearances.  "We don't recommend that," Psaki said.  In fact, we often say, 'You don't answer questions.  But she admits, “He will do whatever he wants because he is the president of the United States.” Psaki spoke candidly about the efforts to keep the president who interacts with people, including reporters, constantly informed. That means focusing on the topics that the White House wants to talk about  Specifically, what is being done to stop the pandemic and put the economy back on track. This also means staying away from controversial issues such as the increase in immigrants at the border. Psaki said one of the reasons for the White House’s refusal to describe the situation as a “crisis”
